Talk about Labels!

Recently a pastor from Kentucky was visiting Virginia and phoned around to find a place to worship. On his first call he reached the pastor of a Southern Baptist church who asked him, "Are you a real Baptist or a Stanley Baptist?" His replied, "Well, I hope I am a real Baptist. I believe in the Virgin birth, the physical resurrection, the Word of God, and that we are saved by the blood."

The Virginia pastor responded, "You're a Stanley Baptist." By extension it would appear that in the view of that Virginia pastor a "real Baptist" does not believe in the Virgin birth, the physical resurrection, the Word of God, or that we are saved by the blood!
