Mobile Crisis Pregnancy Center to begin counseling outside local abortion clinics and universities this Fall

Angela Clark, who has spent 11 years as a counselor providing prolife alternatives to abortion to women experiencing crisis pregnancies is now developing an RV-based mobile pregnancy resource center which will help fill the need for prolife counseling outside local abortion clinics, universities and colleges, and pregnancy resources without ultrasound.

A mobile PRC ministry will allow us to be in close proximity to 15 universities within a 50-mile radius, ideal in allowing us to meet women where they are versus waiting for them to come to us. If only about 10% of women are walking into traditional crisis pregnancy centers, we need to go where they are.

Ultrasound gives a woman an opportunity to bond with her baby early on, and 8 out of 10 abortion-minded women choose life after seeing their baby on ultrasound. Women attending college are the most vulnerable to the deceptive lure of abortion, so we realized that a pro-life presence on college campuses is vital. Sharing the truth will allow us to witness many lives saved.

Although there are mobile pregnancy resource centers across the country, there are none in the Northern Virginia area. A mobile pregnancy resource center will allow abortion-minded women the opportunity to talk to a prolife counselor right outside the abortion clinic or university.

Counselors on board the mobile PRC will provide women information on prolife resources available to help them find alternatives to abortion. The mobile PRC will eventually include ultrasound imaging to show live 4-dimensional images of the unborn child, a highly effective way to demonstrate the essential humanity of the fetus and help persuade a woman to choose life for her baby. The mobile PRC will be touring local parishes in the upcoming weeks; check your Sunday bulletin for details.

Mrs. Clark is seeking volunteer drivers familiar with large recreational vehicles, ultrasound technicians, and experienced prolife counselors. Secure overnight parking and a complementary or low-cost service station for repairs and maintenance are also being sought. They are also in need of a new or used 4D ultrasound machine which dramatically displays the undeniable humanity of the unborn baby.

Volunteers may contact Mrs. Clark via email at pecamh@aol.com. Donations may be sent to Milkforlife.com, c/o Angela Clark 14627 Ely Ct., Woodbridge, VA 22193. Please pray for the success of this vital prolife effort.
