Southeastern Seminary Classes at Norfolk Extension Center

Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary will offer classes during the Fall 2000 and Spring 2001 semesters at the Norfolk Area Extension Center. The course will enable college graduates to earn credits toward the Master of Divinity degree. Classes are offered on Monday evenings from 6:30-9:30 p.m. as well as weekend classes offered one weekend per month on Friday evening (6:00-10:00) and Saturday (9:00-noon & 1:00-4:00) each semester.
Courses To Be Offered - Fall 2000 (August 21 - December 11):
Introduction to Pastoral Ministry, Larry McDonald, Monday evening. An introduction study
of the principles and practices of pastoral leadership in the local church, 3 semester
hours
Introduction to the Old Testament, Part I, Gary Galeotti, weekend session. An introduction
to the history, literature, and religion of the Old Testament, including a detailed
examination of the problems and interpretations of the Pentateuch and Former Prophets, 3
semester hours (Classes meet Sept. 8 & 9; Oct. 13 & 14; Nov. 10 & 11; Dec. 8
& 9).

There is a $25.00 non-refundable application fee for all new students. Registration fees are $105 per credit hour for Southern Baptist students and $210 for non-Southern Baptist students.
