One Is never quite sure what Southern Baptists are going to do when they get together, and the annual convention in Indianapolis was no different. While there were no startling actions or issues, each meeting is unique.

You will find in this Baptist Banner four articles covering varying aspects of the convention: “SBC: Elections”, “SBC: Resolutions”, “SBC: Other Matters”, and “State of the SBC”.

But for Virginia readers the really big news is the election of Dr. Jeff Ginn as the new executive director of the Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia. Be sure to read “Jeffery Ginn selected as SBCV’s exec” and “Interview with Dr. Jeff Ginn”.
