Two Different Death Sentences
by Dr. M. O. Owens Vol. XVIII, No. 9, January 2005
It is also curious that here in the United States many of those who are most vocal against the death penalty are, at the same time, the most open to unlimited abortion and euthanasia. It is strange, indeed, that a person could be opposed to the death penalty for a murderer, and yet be totally supportive of the death penalty for an innocent baby, or a helpless senior citizen. The Supreme Court of our country has had many cases before it in which the argument is to spare the life of a person who had committed a heinous crime, yet by one fell swoop, as it were, they doomed innocent babies to the massive tune of now some forty million, and few see the irony and vast tragedy of it all.
