Growth of the SBCV

Recently at the request of a correspondent I did a little research on the number of Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia churches year by year since the SBCV was constituted a state convention in September 1996. The numbers are presented to you below. The data are as of our annual convention which originally was held in September but has been moved to November. The 2001 data is as of the end of July. The 1995 figure was while we were still a fellowship. The 1996 number reflects those churches that joined at our initial (constituting) meeting.
