"Sin never delivers on its promises. It promises freedom but delivers bondage. It promises life but brings death." We might add that sin promises health, happiness, excitement, and popularity but brings instead disease, misery, boredom, and isolation. Sin says the way to maximize your life is to use others. Jesus said the way to save your life is to lose it for others. Sin and the natural world always teach the opposite of God's truth.
