Abortion, Etc.
Vol. V, No. 4, August 1992
In 1977 Dr. C. Everett Koop, then Surgeon General, addressed his fellow pediatricians regarding the link between abortion and infanticide. He said, "Abortion has led to such cheapening of human life that we now have infanticide. Newborn babies throughout the U.S. are being left to die by starvation because they have birth defects, even defects correctable by surgery."
Dr. Koop summed it up this way, "I see the progression from abortion to infanticide to euthanasia as similar to the problems that developed in Nazi Germany. History shows clearly the frighteningly short steps that lead from the ‘living will' to ‘death control' to ‘thought control,' and finally to the systematic elimination of the unwanted."
