2 Ways to Remember The Banner

Vol. XXIV, No. 4, April 2011

Let me remind you of two ways you can help The Banner. Both are crucially important to our continuing success.

First, obviously we need contributions. Unlike most publications we do not charge for subscriptions ... because we want everyone to receive The Banner without regard to finances. But obviously there are unavoidable expenses, specifically printing, mail-shop, and postage. These run about $8,500 per issue. The upshot is that The Banner really does need your gifts. You can use the enclosed envelope.

Second, we have a circulation of some 20,800. With that many, and considering that most people don’t subscribe in their teens or twenties, with every issue quite a few copies are returned to me from the Post Office as undeliverable: the addressee has moved without leaving a forwarding address, or the person has died. To keep our circulation up, to get the word out, please send me the names and addresses of new folks who should be getting The Baptist Banner. My name and address are in each issue on page 2 in the left hand column.

Thanks for your help in both respects.
