Godly Girl Group

A Christian alternative to the increasingly liberal Girl Scouts is taking root in the heartland.

This article was reprinted in The Baptist Banner by the permission of Focus on the Family who published it first in Citizen magazine.  The article describes the growing leftward trend of the Girl Scouts and growth of a "Christ-based" alternative organization, American Heritage Girls, beginning in 1995 over a kitchen table.

AHG has grown rapidly with more than 150 troops in 32 states, and over 5,000 members.  AHG leaders must be Christians, though member girls need not be.

AHG is a very promising development.  It is heart-rending to see how the Girl Scouts have come to support abortion and with some councils openly promoting homosexuality.  Please follow the link below to read the whole article and to learn how to start an AHG troop.
