The Christian History Library in Libronix™

Product Review                                                                                        Vol. XXI, No. 2, February 2008

The Foundation for American Christian Education is best known for reprinting Noah Webster’s original 1828 Dictionary and publishing historical compilations and The Noah Plan® K–12 curriculum, but now it has released a powerful new research tool called The Christian History Library in Libronix™. The Christian History Library offers eleven books (including Webster’s 1828 Dictionary and the King James Bible) that are integrated together using the Libronix software produced by Logos Bible Software.

Once The Christian History Library has been installed on the customer’s computer, Libronix allows the user to read any of the resources page by page or to perform searches for particular words or concepts in any or all of the books. Although the Libronix™ engine is very sophisticated, the program is very user-friendly: most of the software’s powerful search functions are accessible by right-clicking the mouse on a particular word in an open book.

This product has brought new ease and accessibility to FACE’s time-honored classic resources, and it’s an excellent value as well. Although the retail value of the books contained on the CD exceeds $400, The Christian History Library in Libronix™ costs only $129.95: additional discounts for schools and bulk purchases may apply.
