How ‘bout a Christmas Present for The Banner?
by T. C. Pinckney Vol. XIX, No. 9, Nov/Dec 2006
This is a special time of year for giving. As you wrap your presents to place under the tree, please remember The Baptist Banner. We are careful with your donations using them only to pay for printing and postage. No salaries are paid, no office expenses reimbursed. Max bang for the buck!
But postage and printing do add up when you have 20,300 readers, just about $8,700 per issue or $87,000 a year ... when we publish ten issues.
We are really short of funds. In fact, we had to cancel the April 2006 issue because we didn’t have the money. And in the rest of the year we have been just barely squeaking by.
Two requests: First, please use the enclosed envelope to send a Christmas present to The Banner. We need it, and we will deeply appreciate it.
Second, please put The Banner in your church budget. The largest part of our support comes from churches.
May God bless you and your church. And may you have a blessed Christmas. TCP
