SE Commitment to Inerrancy

During their March meeting SE trustees approved a new Statement of Purpose, Faculty Profile, and Statement of Mission. The latter includes the following sentence, "The Seminary is committed to the complete veracity, inerrancy, and the infallibility of the Bible as an essential foundation for effective Christian ministry and service." The Faculty Profile includes, "...they affirm and teach the Bible as the inspired and infallible Word of God, a perfect treasure of divine instruction, with God as its author, salvation for its end, and truth without any mixture of error for its matter, the true center of Christian union, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions should be tried."
