There is a wealth of information at www.BaptistBanner.org, and it might be of great help to you and your church. Here are some thoughts.

On our homepage, after some brief background information and an appeal for financial support, you will find eleven light blue links. Let me summarize what awaits you at each link:

On the Current Issue page you will find listed each article in the, guess what, current issue. Just click Current Issue and then the article you want to read. [Note: You are free to download and/or print any article on the website. If you want to republish something and the article cites a copyright holder at the end, you must request permission.]

Articles from Past Issues: This is our archive. Every article printed in Banner issues is available other than those merely announcing an upcoming meeting.. Click this link and you are taken to an index page listing 27 topics in alphabetical order, the first being “Abortion” the last “Theology”. When you click any topic, you go to an index page which lists all the articles available (and the Banner issue in which each appeared) for that subject with the most recent at the top and going further into the past as you scroll down the list. Some of these articles are of just historical interest, but many are just as important now as when first published.

Seminary in Apostasy: This is the journal of a Bible-believing student who went to the Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond because it was convenient ... he was living in Richmond at the time. His experiences there, what he learned about liberal Baptists, the narrow-minded, radically leftist indoctrination he experienced are eye-openers. A must read.

Southern Baptist Differences: Background about issues in Southern Baptist life. If you or your church is trying to learn about issues in SBC denominational life, you will find this article and its back-up references very helpful.

Supply & Interim Pastors: If your church is looking for an interim or supply pastor, be sure to check this list. Each of these pastors has assured me that he is a biblical inerrantist.

Virginia Evangelists: This page contains the names, postal addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses of good evangelists who live in Virginia.

Suggestions for Pastor Search Committees and Pastor Search: One Committee's Approach: Two articles which should be extremely helpful to search committees as they pursue the critically important search for a new shepherd for their church. Lots of suggestions and lessons drawn from one committee’s experience.
