Five Administrators Leaving Southern

As Southern Seminary prepares for the upcoming school year and the new presidency of Al Mohler, the school will face key changes in its top administrative posts. The provost, two of the four deans, and two vice presidents have resigned. Provost Larry McSwain will become president of Shorter College, Rome, GA, on 1 August. Milburn Price, dean of the School of church Music since 1981 will move to a like post at Samford University. William B. Rogers, dean of Christian Education, will continue as a professor but no longer be dean. Elisabeth E. Lambert, VP for student services, will join her husband in West Lafayette, IN. David R. Wilkinson, VP for seminary relations, has been named communications coordinator for the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship in Atlanta. All resignations are effective 31 July, when retiring president Roy Honeycutt's service ends, except that Wilkinson left 31 May.
